Someone who also lost her mother (I did too) said to me recently, 'what wouldn't you give for one more conversation with your mum?' and I couldn't answer because it would be so much.
My guess is that you are currently feeling under pressure or anxious about something and your subconscious gave you the one person who would calm you and help you find a way. It shows that she is still there in your heart and that's lovely.
I wouldn't worry at all, I think its a great dream to have - I once had one where my Mum and I were in a boat having this lovely chat about how I was growing up. You just have to recognise that its not a message from beyond the grave, its all your creation but its a lovely creation.

It is probably just a reflection of your love for her and that you still miss her. Was it a nice dream? I have a very close friend who has been overseas for many years and I dream of her frequently. When I wake, I feel so good for having seen her, even if it wasn't real, it feels like it at the time and I let it be good enough because there is no other way to see her. If she gave you advice, take it, it is probably your subconscious telling you what you know your mother would have said.

Friend it don't mean anything, I lost my mother in 1991, & my wife in 1989, I still have dreams of them sometimes, In fact a few years ago, I dreamed my first wife was still alive & that she had only been gone on a trip, & I knew in my dream that I had remarried, Of which I did remarried in 1991, & in my dream I had to make a decision, I then told my 1st wife that she is dead & was not gone on a trip, & then she just vanished.

All it means is that you were thinking about her.
And to be still thinking about someone 18 years after they died shows how much you loved her and miss her.
Surely it was a nice dream?
It's a sad fact that we're all mortal and everyone dies sometime, and once they're gone we can't talk to them. So surely your dream was the next best thing to actually being able to talk to her?

Any time you dream of the deceased, remember well what they say and do and what their appearance is like. Because they do not live in the world of lies (our world)_ but in the world of truth. Everything they say will be true. The state in which you see them, happy, sad, etc.. is the state they are in now. Sometimes, they need you to give charity on their behalf, a kind word to someone, reconcile estranged members of family etc... You should give some kind of charity on her behalf and remember what you discussed with her as what she said may have import. Further, examine her state, happy, wretched, comfortable as that is how she is now. Lastly, ask the Lord God to have mercy on her and forgive her wrongdoings as the dead can hear the blessings of the living and your mother will receive further reward and good deeds in her grave as she has raised a good son/daughter who even honors her after death.

I don't believe dreams "mean" anything. Perhaps you were very close to your mum? If it was a good dream about her, take comfort from it, enjoy your memories. If it was a bad dream, dismiss it, dreams aren't worth upsetting you, it's just the brain being kooky overnight.

You never stop missing your parents if they pass away. Not for the rest of your life. I'm sure that dream is a reflection of that.

I don't think dreams can mean too much.
I dreamt I was driving the Batmobile the other night.

No, you dreamed about her because you were simply thinking about her during your sleep. It means nothing.
