O.K. Having a few problems at the moment, and dont know really how to start.... have been with my girlfriend for nearly a year,and we were friends for ages before that. It just seems that although I really like her, every conversation we have lately, she just says something that winds me up, or almost says something that she knows I'll argue with....it never used to be like that before. we dont seem to communicate very well in conversations, i ask questions, and she answers with an answer as if I answered a different question. We had problems a few months back, as she went on the pill for us to start having sex, we're both virgins, and it was difficult for me to know what I was doing, hence she got angry at me, when I didnt know what I was doing. All through our relationship, she doesnt start any kind of intimacy, its always me, i always start the kissand she says its cos shes shy. I bought her flowers for v.day, yet didnt get as much as a card. yet when i ask her, she says shes happy!

sounds like you are losing the excitment.....you are together all the time and all the fun has worn off....this is when you find out if you really care about each other.....try and take some time away from each other....both of you spend a night out with your friends and then the next night you can go out to dinner or somethin....you can't miss each other as much if you are together 24/7...you'll just irritate each other if you are together that much.....good luck

Well, you do know that being friends for a very long time and then having a relationship is difficult. The feeling of being friends and lovers are different, and sometimes 2 people in a very close friendship will miss read feelings and thought you love each other more than friends, and to find out it was a mistake. So, you have to be sure is she devoted as much you are in this relationship. She could be shy because, before this, she is your friend, and to change from that to something more, it could be hard on her, but you just need to talk to her about things, and where is this relationship going, you dont want to lose a gf and a bestfriend all at the same time. Just talk things through, i am sure everything will be ok when every single problem is out in the open for discussion and sloved. Good luck .

Expectations is the mother of all screw ups? Do what you have to and don't expect. Things always get better when you don't force intimacy. It has to happen naturally.
