If God is LOVE, then shouldn't you seek Him within yourself, not in some supreme 'place' called Heaven/Paradise in the sky...

Christians believe that God already knows what they need even before they ask Him,but it is a sign of humble dependence on God to do so,many times God will grant the petition sometimes He will not, it depends on the wisdom of God in all cases, and of course God is entitled to say no at times too, just as any good parent would.
I do agree with you though in that we should seek God within us and act appropriately, but as God is omnipotent He can be in Heaven and within us at the same time.

No... I do NOT feel that Christians believe God is an external agency.

Yes... I believe that as Christians we DO petition Jesus.

Yes... God is Love

Yes... We do seek him within ourselves in private prayers, and in public too.

No... we DON'T go to Heaven to seek God...

No... we DON'T go to Paradise in the sky to seek God...

God is omnipresent...

I feel I'm speaking for most Christians... that we have faith in Jesus hearing our prayers... knowing our needs... hearing our cries... knowing our hearts...

So, hollywood hottie...

Jesus said,"I have come not to call the
righteous, but the sinner to repentance".

Did you know...
God loves us so much He sent His Son Jesus
to this earth to pay for our sins so that
whoever puts their trust in Him will not
perish but have eternal life...?.. (Jn. 3:16)

Did you know we can be clean & free from
the burden of guilt & condemnation of sin?

Christ has called us to Himself so we
can repent of sin & be freely forgiven, and
be cleansed of all unrighteousness .

The Bible says, "If we confess our sins
He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and
to cleanse us from all unrighteousness".

Are you still living in sin? The Bible says:
The Lord is compassionate toward us
and very patient, not willing that any
should perish, but that all should come
to repentance. (2Peter 3:9)

Did you once know Christ and turn away?
The Bible says, the Son of God has come to
seek and save that which is lost. (Lu.19:10)

Jesus is the lover of your soul...
Will you return to him now and receive his
mercy and grace. He wants to set you free
from guilt & sin and give you perfect peace .

Pray this prayer:
Heavenly Father; I admit I am a sinner; I have
gone astray. I repent of sin now, and return to
you. Please have mercy on me, forgive me
my sins and wash me clean. I believe Jesus
died for me, so I can be set free. Restore peace
to me and give me the free gift eternal life;
I ask in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
