im about 5'0 and most of my friends are 5'5 and above. i didn't care much about my height as long as i'm slim and have curves insted of being a stick figure like my friends. a few weeks ago, my friend, who was 5'4 or 5'5, told me that she has a height problem and she's wants to be taller. i've always thought that she looked lovely at that height and its not too tall nor too petite. later she asked me if i'm ever worried that i might not grow since im 5'0 or almost there.
her question has got me seriously thinking and its kinda bothering me for awhile.
the guys never told me this (except for afew jerks who called me shorty) and i think they're just being nice to me. and my friends told me that i have a height problem. plus it really breaks my heart to have my friends tell me that i would find trouble searching for a guy in my later life if i'm not tall enough.
im 16 years, 45kg, slim chinese,
what do you guys think?
do i have a height problem?

If you were dating a 7'0 basketball player who would you say has a height problem? Him or you? The answer's neither. You describe yourself as slim with curves. That's the perfect woman if you ask me, I've never heard tall in the prerequisites for a beautiful woman. And let's not forget that some of the most sensual women in the world are considered short yet desired more than others (Kylie Minogue, Lucy Liu - goddess, Carmen Electra, the list goes on and on). And as I always like to say "expensive perfumes come in small bottles". Never feel bad about our height and shame on your friends for making you feel that way!

You don't have a height problem at all. I have a height problem: I'm 6 foot 8 inches tall.
Accept your height, and tell your friends that you're okay with it. Guys will find you attractive no matter how short or tall you are. My ex was 5'2" and my current girlfriend is 5'6". You're fine. Worry about more the more important things in life.

Hey im 5'0 and im 21. believe it or not ive found someone that loves me for who i am. my bf loves my height and to tell u the truth a lot of my friends have told me they dont like girls that are too tall theyd rather have someone petite. Being short isnt a disease or anything so just embrace ur beauty and dont care about what ur friends say.mayb they are jealous that they arent cute enough. but anywho ur 16 u will most likely grow a lil more.just be patient.

Height is a natural phenomenon so it has nothing to do with individual life. So don't worry about your height i think you looks more attractive with 45kg at 5' height.

There is no such thing as a height 'problem.' You're only 16, so if you don't smoke you may be able to grow a little taller yet.
You need to learn to be happy with your height cause you can't change it. be happy with who you are. Or, wear heels :)

I find shorter petite women more attractive 5-5'5 are my preferance. Don't worry about your height. You'll probably get another few inches maybe 5'3 by the time your done growing and if you don't still who cares.

Well, you are short, but as long as you are fine with it, there is no problem. But why do people always say that when you are ¨tall¨ (i think 5ft5 is rather short), you have a stick figure and when you are supershort you have a curvy figure? I am 5ft11 and i have a very curvy hourglass figure, my hips are 12 inches wider than my waist. I´m sure i´m a lot curvier than you are. Most girls who claim to be curvy, when they tell their waist and hip measurements, turn out to be straight as an arrow.

Height is not a problem, there are people who are way shorter than you are, it doesnt mean anything. As long your healthy and you have a good heart. Thats good enough.

You don't have a height problem. You are just vertically challenged!
Be glad that you aren't horizontally challenged, then you really would have something to worry about.
