You can get pregnant straight away, most likely because females are extremely fertile just after giving birth.

My life long friend has 4 children. Her eldest 2 are 10 months apart. When she suspected she was pregnant about 5/6 weeks after having baby number 1 her doctor refused to even give her a pregnancy test. She was proved right later that year when baby number 2 came along. For 2 months of the year thay are the same age.

Yes you're right you dont need to have had a period after childbirth before you fall pregnant, you are more fertile at ths time aswell. I would advise your sister to get a test done immediately as she could well be pregnant. They advise you about this in the hospital and usually gie you leaflets, was she not listening, or does she secretly want another baby so soon ??

You can get pregnant pretty soon after childbirth. Apparently if you're breastfeeding it reduces the chances of pregnancy but you can still be fertile even if you've not had a period yet. If it was less than 72 hours ago that she had sex she can still buy the morning after pill from a pharmacy just to be on the safe side if she doesn't want to get pregnant again yet.

no your not over reacting i have 2 daughters less then a year apart i got pregnant when my first was 5 weeks old and i was breastfeeding and on the mini pill.
i am also a midwife and i have seen women become pregnant 2 weeks after giving birth and your not even supposed to be having sex untill 6 weeks post partum if you do the risk of infection is huge goodluck to your sister by the sound of it i hope she is not pregnant.

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

Your advised not to get pregnant too early after having a baby, I think its about 3 months but accidents happen of course. A lot of women arent interested in sex at that time anyway either due to stitches or lack of sleep etc.
The body needs time to settle doen again but I dont thing its too serious, women are very fertile just after giving birth due to their hormone levels

Once infertility has been diagnosed, there are a number of treatment options available depending on the root cause of the problem. Learn here https://tr.im/SgjG4

Infertility is a condition defined as not being able to become pregnant after at least one year of unprotected, regular, well-timed intercourse. Women who suffer from multiple miscarriages may also be diagnosed as infertile. Infertility may be classified into two groups, primary and secondary infertility.

You are at your most fertile straight after childbirth and can get pregnant straight away. Didnt her midwife warn her of this? She should be using extra protection for about 3 months after giving birth. Looks like you could be in line for extra babysitting duties!

I have a friend who hadn't had a period yet and fell pregnant straight away again. I had one and fell pregnant again.
It is very hard having two that close. Remind her how she feels now and get het to imagine feeling like this again and not being able to sit down, let alone sleep.
I fell pregnant from being in the same room as my partner- apparently you are very fertile after childbirth.
