I have 2 budgies one is male and other is female.The female laid 4 eggs but the male is like playing,trying to take out the eggs fom the nest box.I removed the male so is this the correct thing to do and when should I keep him back.Any ideas?

males fertilize the eggs before they are layed so....yeah, blindflac... is wrong. he could just be rearranging them for incubation. or the egg could be infertile and he is trying to get rid of it PUT HIM BACK IN THE CAGE!!!! the female will need him when the eggs hatch. both male and female feed the chicks

Budgies(also called parakeets here in US) often times will remove a bad egg from nest. The female needs him if she is laying as he feeds her. I would return him and jsut watch. They may not be ready for babies yet. If he removes all teh eggs from nest take the box away and give them a break.

You sure the male wasn't trying to fertilize the eggs? WTF is a budgie?
