Am thinking about moving either to Hong Kong or China but have been hearing about lost of pros and cons about the two places. Which is better? Many thanks for your advice.

That depends. Basicly Hong Kong is far more better than most cities in the mainland. But to me the weather is too hot, there are so many people in HK, and everyone is so busy everyday. So I rather choose a less developed city in the mainland. Live a easier life.

Definitely Hong Kong!!! The Hong Kongers are much friendlier and the food is fantastic, especially their Dim Sum and Cantonese cuisine. On top of that, the people there DO NOT SPIT anywhere they like on the street, buses, trains and hotels unlike those in China!!! Furthermore, the people in HK speaks better English and have good manners compared to you know where.

Hong Kong is definitely better. Managed under the British previously, it continues to be governed in the same methodically. Plus it has all ultra-modern amenities everywhere. Only snag is space is a bit limited. Otherwise, the country will definitely be much better. And English is more prevalent than in China.

Yes but consider: 1) how good is your Chinese 2) Where will you live (In places like SiChuan they have high prices and low salary) 3) Because of salary, electronics will be expensive to buy 4) It is not safe to eat/ drink many foods/drinks 5) Do you have relatives who live in China? HongKong is good but it is polluted and overpopulated, although the living standard there is much better than Mainland China. So perhaps, no.

hong kong is definitely better than china. be it the society or the environment. however, hong kong is well-verse in cantonese, so can you speak cantonese?
