What color should the Bible cover be? Or does it matter? Should there be a picture on it, or just leave it blank?

Should there be a note on the back "I am George Bush, and I approve of this message"

The Word of God needs no approval of man.
The cover, the paper, the ink... change several times for centuries now. What remains divinely intact is the love of the One True God inculcated in His Word. The Word, not the cover, save millions of people throughout history, past, present and in the future.

1) The color of the bible varies, I have 4 that were either passed down or were gifts some time in my life. one gold, one dark blue, one tan and one black with a red liner.

2) Black hides dirt, if you are in a rural environment working out in the dirt all day long you wouldn't want your bible to look like it has been sitting on the ground.

3) Many Bibles have leather covers. Black is an easy color to make for leather and it helps hide the flaws in the leather.

4) I have seen Bibles with pictures on and in them,. but most people prefer a plain cover.

5) and no... I had hoped you were being serious with this question and I hope your just trying to be funny. either way no...

Why does it matter? It's what's between the covers that makes a difference, not the outside.

If you go to a Christian bookstore, you will find Bibles with covers in every color under the sun but the content is still the same.

Black to alot of people does signify evil. In the secular world, it symbolizes neutrality. In the non-Christian world, black signifies protection from evil/negativity.

it rather is a ideal color, valid looking. even nonetheless it probable has extra to do with the non secular concepts in instances previous. human beings wore black with some white like bonnets or shirts, etc. it must be for austere appearances in any different case for averting frivolity. Debbie
