I think we're all in this dilemma, really. Everyone I know pretty much goes out and buys things to please themselves, so it's very difficult to know what to get them.

Encourage your boyfriend to start keeping a wishlist online - say with Amazon or try ListIdeas.com which is also good.

In the meantime, tell him that you want to get him something special for his birthday and if he seems humble about it and gives you no suggestions, just give him something from the heart. Something you think he'll use often, or something that will tell him you love him, or take an interest in his hobbies, as well.

In the end, it really isn't the gift but the thought that counts.

For Valentine's Day I asked weeks in advance what my bf wanted, and he gave me no suggestions, so I bought a gift voucher and waited. Then we were able to get him something he really wanted.

Alternatively, a sexy night in is usually good fun. ;) Just get excited about it, rather than worried about it. :)

Have fun! And happy birthday to your bf. :)

Create a small scrapbook or university of issues you 2 like and have experienced jumbled in with some photographs. that is totally symbolic and romantic, at an analogous time as nevertheless being reasonably priced. besides the incontrovertible fact that, you additionally can prepare dinner for him. no longer something reaches a guy's heart like nutrients and robust intercourse.

3 sex vouchers. 1 warm and friendly (massage and so on), 1 somewhat kinky (e.g., suck him off while he's watching porn, or some fetish of his, or whatever), and 1 for ordinary sex at the time of his choosing no matter how much you're not in the mood.
