The girl is impressed by the 'interest' the man is showing in her. The more he praises her, says good things about her and flatters her, the more impressed she becomes.

I have discovered in my life experiences, that if a man does things to impress a girl then he isn't being true to himself nor her. A girl wants to see and know the real you. She doesn't need false impressions just to discover later, that you aren't really who you say you are inside.
Find out what her likes and dislikes are and if you share them.. talk to her about them or ask her to be involved in those things. Don't find the answers out and just go along with it, if you aren't real it will all come out later on.
