Have you tried applying for such as a grant from your own country, most want collateral, you could work save the money and do it that way, or work and do a course at the open university, they may take longer but you will not be in debt, people must get out of the route of getting others to finance their needs, or getting into the debt spiral, I would not think anyone will advance a loan as you could default on it at any time by going home.

I would suggest getting a loan from you own country. I am not sure why you would be looking for a hand out for the UK and I can't think of any reason you would think the US should be paying for you education in another country - unless you are a US citizen.
