How do I become enlightened?

Question

I want to escape Plato's Cave.
I want to be released from the Matrix.
I want to break free from this simulated reality.

Please, don't answer if you are trying to be funny. Don't answer to ridicule me. Only answer if you genuinely know how to escape and are willing to help me.

FILIPINO paisano: Unless that god is Shiva, I cannot see how any god isn't just part of the system. But then, isn't Shiva also part of the system? FILIPINO paisano, how do you know anyone else is alive except you? How do you know anyone else experiences consciousness except you? If you believe in choice, then the system has you chained too tightly for you to escape. If you believe you are nothing but a spectator of the choices your brain makes on your behalf - then who/what is defined as 'you'? How can you be free if you don't know what the concept of 'you' is? Any evidence on the contrary could be part of the system - how can you break the chains unless you liberate yourself from all aspects of control (including the body)? Is THAT how the Buddha obtained enlightenment - by separating consciousness from body? If so, what is the secret? Where is the back door?

How do I get out?

acid_zebra: uncut: Sanity is defined by the majority - and the majority cannot escape. If I escaped and came back to help others escape, wouldn't you think I was insane? If I told you that the shadows you saw were an illusion generated to fool you into control, would you be prepared to turn around and look into the fire? The majority of people wouldn't - are they the 'sane' ones? In that case, I choose insanity.

Loathe thy neighbor.: The logic of the simulated reality is not in dispute. If you don't believe it, are you not just part of the system - defending the system but totally unaware? Can't you see that it is less logical for this universe we percieve to be 'real'?!

I truly believe when its your time it will just happen its not like standing up in AA and proclaiming I am an alcoholic it happens without you even noticing. In a world full of hate people try to deceive you and pose its hard to weed out who is telling the truth, Someone usually comes...unless the time has already passed when those people have gone too. I know no way to leave what defines and contains you. You can rise above it to catch glimpses. What you will see though is God.

He is the light, Satan is the small thing between God and Man that casts the shadows of what we call real. When you can see the light and the shadow caster you can tell the direction of things to come by anticipating how the shadow caster is is preparing to move.

You are shackled to your own illusion that there is a matrix, or "simulated" reality that exists "outside" of your's. There is nothing to "escape" but the delusion of your illusion.
