yes, sanskrit is scoring subject in exams for higher / secondary education, like that of mathematics where logics are used like that of formulaes as against vibhakti, etc. Focus on the concepts/ formula/grammar and you will gain best scores.

Probably Sanskrit is not the mother tongue of anybody in the world. Universities offer simple syllabus in Sanskrit for UG & PG students and reward high marks to encourage opting it in the college studies.

Yes, don't take Sanskrit take Spanish. Sanskrit is of no use to man or beast take Spanish and It looks good on your resume of you have learnt Spanish.

ya it is.you just need to understand the subject well.like chitra ques. is very easy-write 5 easy lines in sans,thats it n u get 10 marks but at the same time knowledge of grammar is very inp. n i can tell u where most go wrong isnt vibhati but ling,so be careful bout that.best of luck!!
