Hi, My sons 3mth old Princess Parrot has a hole just under his nostril. Would anyone know what this may be?

It hasn't caused any discomfort. But it only appeared over the last couple of weeks. There is no redness or inflamation, but it is a definate hole. Kind of looks like a 3rd nostril. Hopeing that someone may have seen something like this before.

Any aberration like this needs veterinary advice. It may be something quite simple to solve like damage of some sort but could be a burrowing parasite which will have to be removed with surgery. It could also be nothing to worry about at all. Find a good avian vet and make an appointment to see them as soon as possible.
