I am running windows vista home premium.

I recently downloaded a large file (18mb), but instead of choosing 'save' i selected 'run'. Once downloaded, i aborted the operation because i had to leave at that point.

I now would like to run the file, but for the life of me i cant find it anywhere on my computer. I have searched in various ways but it simply is not showing up.

Does anyone know where this file would have been downloaded to? (precise path if possible please!)

thanks.

In your "temp" folder. Re- download it, but save it to your desktop.

Go check if its in ur C drive and search under windows..then find download installation..but normall it will create a new folder.. if realli could find it there either way u can try the search under the all files and folders. Sure u can track it there ;)

well... run saves it to a temp storage spot, then puts the program into memorie correct? well I am not well versed on Vista, but I do know there is an Temporary Internet Folder for xp, that holds such 'ran' files for a short amount of time....
