Why are terrorists accused of murder when soldiers also kill and are not accused as well?

The accuser is the law of the land. Soldiers are appointed by the law and work for the law. The Terrorists are not appointed by the law (accuser) but chosen to rebel against the law of the land (whatever).
So, every action not only killing like hiding, living in the forest, moving in the boarders, smuggling weapons and etc are accused by the law. In other words, Terrorists are not of the law but against the law. Soldiers are of the law and the law protects them.

classical definition of a terrorist is one who kills civilians to scare the populace, hence the terror aspect. usually wanting something. Soldiers generally don't try to kill innocent people and call it colateral damage when a bomb destroys more than intended.

Who you call a terrorist is another question? Perhaps why they use the term insurgents or i heard today militarists. Other terms would be para military and guerilla. Para military are like guerillas; irregular soldiers hired or for the cause but they support the govt where guerillas are against the govt.

A "TERRORIST" is one who may kill me,you, ones father, ones mother, ones brother ,ones wife ,ones good friend on say on ones birthday party,marriage or at a public place.

i would guess it depends on what side you are on. if you are part of Al Queada would you not be considered a soldier in the ranks of Al Queada? Don't Muslim extremists turn the tables and refer to the West as "the real terrorists"?

soldiers make every effort to not kill innocents or civilians. here is the difference between the US and the terrorists or other parties that hate the USA: we have to hit a chemical factory in downtown middle east. we will sacrifice american lives to ensure that the chemical plant is ALL we hit as much as is humanly possible. Now the other side wants to take out oh lets say a target of similar size. THEY WONT CARE IF THEY HAVE TO TAKE OUT 15 CITY BLOCKS TO HIT THEIR TARGET.

War and murder are two different situations. Unless the soldiers killed someone illegally then that would be murder. As of now, because of terrrorism soldiers have to go to war.
