No, the definition of christian is
Christian adj. Professing belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus.
There for if they followed Mohamed then by definition they would no longer be christians
It has always amazed me, the three major religions, christianity, islam, and judism are all based on the same story. They are all basicly the same until Mohamed came along. The muslims believed in mohamed, they thought he was the messiah, the christians and jews all thought he was crazy and chose to ignore him. Next comes Jesus. Well the muslims already had their messiah, but the christians believed that Jesus was the messiah, onse again the jews thought he and mohammed were phony. The jews are still waiting on their messiah.
The ideology is basicly the same between the three religions but it has been the reason for countless wars throught history.

There are sons in tons in the Bible ( see Old Testament ).
Why you ask this Question from the poor followers who are brain-washed since 350AD. However, If you can convince the Pope or Bishop ( Orthodox Patriach ) then it is possible!
The Church is facing great problems with the one son created by Paul and Peter hence both the church willl not allow its followers: (catholics / protestants) to add one more!!
Christians try their best to justify 3 x1 but OT rejects this theory.
There is no authentic verse in Bible which could prove Jesus as Son of God.
John the Baptist only confirmed one fact that Jesus is messiah. He did not confirmed Jesus as son of God?
Some christian scholars are insisting to return to the original faith and accept man Jesus as prophet of God but the church is thinking about its own fate and survival.
It is a difficult matter...None will accept !!!

The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God; Yet they are not three Gods, but one God.

i sometimes wonder - as i have read the Koran and the bible - about the similarities between the 2 books. Therefore perhaps as these books talk about 'the son of god' it stands to reason that Mohammed and Jesus are one and the same! Religion, whatever the form was about having a moral code to living a life, over the centuries 'man' has twisted these ideals into 'something else' - the issues that are always discussed, do not need to be discussed, we should be aware and tolerant, understanding and peaceful about ALL religions and beliefs. No-one is truly right or wrong.

No we would not believe it. This is an impossibility. Christ was the fufillment of all prophecy. His teachings state NO MORE PROPHETS. He is the word and the word is God. A Johnny- come-lately conquerer who desires to justify his thirst for power by hi-jacking Judaic and Christian teaching to his own greedy ends will never fool a true Christian touched by the Holy Spirit.
It won't even fool one who can study simple history.

No, because He taught against the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Muslims (and Islam) say Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ....that is hypocrisy.
They deny Jesus's divinity;
they reject his claim to be the Son of God;
they reject his death on the cross...
they reject His ressurrection..
They reject Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
Need I say more...?
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ .
Scripture calls Muhammed and those like him false prophets...
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)

I thank God for he did not choose Muhammed as His Beloved Son in whom He is well pleased.
To Punter's quote:
The verses you have quoted is the one misunderstood by all Muslims.
Its a prophecy that has fore told about a time when Israel and Judah get reconciled to God after God's punishment on them for their evil ways.
It says, again (after a period set by God) no one use this proverb that father ..ate....no one bears another ones sin..etc.
Remember Bible prophecies are not lines of riddles as in Quran.
