slime from my bum?

i was taking a number 2 today and it all came out normal(firm) then all a sudden what felt like diarrhea came out i thought that was weird so i had a look and there was a very large slightly cloudy blob of what looks like slime. any ideas what this could be

I don't mean to be gross, but it could very well be liquefied fat. People who take a certain kind of weight loss medication have this happen to them because the medications causes the fat within them to be come liquid type gooey blob that is then cleaned out of their system when they defecate.

Another explanation and the most likely cause is nothing more that natural discharge from the vagina. ALL women naturally have discharge. Women have an extremely short distance between the vaginal opening and the anus, so if you were to have a bowel movement, it will still cause the vaginal area to contract and expand also and anything that were to come out of the vagina at the same time as a bowel movement, will basically land in the same area of the stool. With that being said, chances are that's exactly what happened. During the time you were using the bathroom, discharge was released from the vagina and landed in the toilet. It's perfectly normal and you shouldn't worry.

Either way, I'd suggest going to your doctor and discussing any concerns you may have since only you know how bad the "glob" was and looked.

I endorse the weight loss idea and also suggest that a visit to the doc is required. As to the blob, perhaps some company will sponsor it to run for congress?
