May be virus try to download a virus scanner using safe mood option ... but if have scan and u still have the problem it depends on what XP u use "professional or home edition " windows xp home edition have many files in your system then i recommend u to do that:
1- make a format to C partion.
2- download windows xp professional .
3-after that open C - windows - system - Temp
4- delete all files in the folder Temp .

Go to my computer right click it --> advanced mode --> System and recovery there will be tick on Automatically restart get the tick off. Now your problem is solved

It normally happens when the RAM is not fixed properly. Take your RAM out and fix it properly in the same slot or in the free slot if you're having one. There's definitely some hardware problem. Get out of it before your computer is bugged.

look dear its virus problem, which restart your computer(you should scan your computer with any new versian of anti virus) and for speed you should increas your hard disk and RAM....
