I decided for no apparent reason to just let my hair grow and not get any major cutting. i was just wondering what women prefered on men long or short and why :P ? thanks for the help

For what it's worth, anything from shaved to chin length works for me. Longer than that (ie shoulder length or longer) becomes a turn off for me. I can't speak for all women, but I know that most of my girlfriends feel the same way.
I think it has something to do with a guy having a pony tale, generally it just doesn't visually appeal to me. Also I've noticed that even if their hair is just washed, alot of times men's longer hair tends to look greasy, which again isn't appealing.

Personally? I like long hair on men. It is just that bit more wild and spontaneous, and I think all women have a thing for 'bad boys' at one point or another. Short hair... there's nothing wrong with short hair, but it is just much more straight laced and respectable. Which is good if that's the image you want to present to women, but if not, I'd recommend long hair for getting you more luck :P

In my experience, eventually even girls that loved my long hair decided they would like me to go short. When I eventually felt I was willing to try something shorter most ladies had the similar desire that I have their stylist do it or go to the barber so he would dramatically cut off everything and get it buzzed faded. The only woman I will actually cut everything off for will be my wife.

Personally, I like either long flippy hair, the kind that flips to the side, or long ot short curly hair. I dont think hair matters so much as personality does right? Thats what its all about! :-)

It really depends on how a guy carries their hairstyle. Long hair looks great on some, short on others. Depends on the guy's face and features.

For me i prefer guys with neat and short hair. However, if you want to have long hair and you look nice with it, why not?

it all really depends on the womens taste or even how the guy looks with long hair. i prefer short but there are guys who look really good with long hair. so personel it doenst matter as long as he keeps his long hair clean and tidy, then its fine either way.

i love the hair style that zac efron got on(if you're blonde). i think if you get one like that you will definitely look great and besides that, so much younger.

Short hair. I feel like hair is a woman's glory, not a man's. I hate to see guys with long hair, even if its managed nicely.
