Well have you tried a amber brown, Think in also other furniture pieces that could need clr cordination to go with the couch. Lets say you have white end table a white reclyner or couch would cordniate, but don't be affraid of color. A honey will go fine with red and grey or avacado I would invest in a comfortable couch. Then buy the couch covers in any color. Keep in mind clr cordination like pictures on the grey wall in red frames or honey colored frames. So if you need more help go to" Jane Lockhart, host of Get Color!." hgtv I hope this was helpful

Instead of choosing furniture to "go with" the colors already in the bedroom, you do have the option of repainting - the whole room, the dove grey walls, or the red wall.

I am assuming you like the colors and want to work with what is already there. I would stay away from the red for a sofa color. Reds are hard to match, and you'd be "stuck" with a color you may grow tired of later.

If you could find a pale, pale soft grey sofa, I think that would work nicely. Grey is a neutral color. You could try a black leather sofa, and accessorize it with red (plain and print) throw pillows.

Red, grey, and black would be a very masculine combination.

Another option would be an off-white fabric or leather couch. There are so many shades of ivory and white, but personally, I wouldn't go with anything in the beige or golden tones. I'd look for cool, grey undertones. A light colored sofa and an 18 year old may not be a good combo, so----choose a sturdy, rugged fabric or a slip cover that can be washed.

White or Black would be the best in my opinion. A darker gray would also work. To spice things up a bit bring in some cool patterns and textures with pillows, rugs, window treatments, and other accessories.
