How awesome to see a young man wanting to learn how to cook! If only my husband would have been the same way! LOL Personally, I've discovered that some of the best meals come from experimenting and creating your very own dishes!

Here are some links to some helpful recipe websites. Each one offers a little bit of everything.

This is the one I use the most: http://allrecipes.com/

Here are some others to check out and actually have "beginners" sections!

Modern Recipes for Beginners - http://www.godecookery.com/begrec/begrec.htm

Food Network -

Betty Crocker -

Reluctant Gourmet -

I wish you the very best in learning to cook!

This is my favorite recipe site because it has recipes for those of us that are ordinary, non-gourmet, country folk. If you type in for a search, you get a variety of choices. My teen girls like to use this site too.
