As a floral designer, I know when we sell the most weddings. June has always been #1 and probably always will be. It'a all about getting married after graduation and moving away to the new job. The second is August before school starts again and December is next because if you marry then you can file taxes together. Not very romantic reasons but that's what we hear in the flower business. I love weddings anytime of the year but a Valentine's day wedding is my favorite although you won't get much attention from your florist as it is the busiest time of year for us anyway. Also flowers are the most expensive at that time, with Mother's Day being the second busiest and most expensive. If you are getting married in June, you should be getting your flowers ordered pretty soon. Sometimes we get so many for one weekend we just can't work in another one. Good Luck !

usually, it's June. this stems bakc to ancient times, when May was the month that the pagan gods/goddesses were married (the festival of Beltaine) so, since people were respecting that, they'd wait until June. now, it's more or less June, because it's more convenient to plan, but the peak wedding season is from May to October.

the summer months are most popular, with spring second then autumn and winter.
if you are planning your wedding, and are concerned a bit about money and stuff, just be aware that a wedding during the autumn and winter is a lot cheaper because they (venues / photographer / car hire ) are out of season, i have saved a fortune on my wedding, we are getting married in november - our anniversary is november 20th.
