An x-ray chest graph and specimen of your sputum will help you. This means that you have to see your doctor again. According to your symptoms, it can be an atypic pneumonia, 3 months is a very long time. Your sputum must be culturized and if there is bacterial reproduction in these cultures, an antibiotic sensitivity test will be necessary to choose right antibiotics for you. Tuberculosis is another possibility, your sputum specimens will be dyed with special methods. And if it's Tbc. you have to take a long term antibiotic therapy.
Allergy is a low possibility, because of season. But if you just changed your environment (such as a new pet, a new job or moving to a new house/city) before these symptoms it can be an allergic condition.
In both situations, chest graph and sputum specimen will be necessary.

It would be interesting to know where you live and which antibiotic you were prescribed. Sometimes doctors prescribe the wrong ones (this is an area of investigation I have been involved with) for various reasons and don't treat infections like bronchitis aggressively enough, then they can easily turn into pneumonia, seen it happen a lot. If you are feeling generally unwell in addition to cough, I would prescribe, based in info given, Levoxin 500 mg once a day for 10 days.

The first place you need to go is the Doctor. You can also use a mixture of sliced potatoes and vinegar in a bowl. The starch and vinegar help bring down the fever. Cool baths are good too. Give the baby Pedialite to keep their fluids up and don't give them too much milk because milk makes the cough worse. Good luck!
