Question

I had a yeast infection that I left untreated bc the test cacme back negative. Then later on when I got tested again because the white, irrititating discharge wouldn't go away and I was itching and burning it came back positive with only a few buds. I used 7 day Monistat but it's been almost 2 years and this discharge is still here.

All tests and cultures keep coming back negative for everything including BV, STD's, trich, and yeast.

I am at my wit's end and I keep shelling out money to the best institutes for them to tell me the SAME thing which is everything is coming bacck negative and normal and they just don't know.

Are there any OB/GYN's out there that have any suggestions??

Also, this discharge has made it impossible to have sex. It has rubbed my vagina raw and irritated.

Look, I know this sounds daft, but eat LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of GARLIC, eat it raw, I am quite sure if you had to eat a whole plant of raw garlic at once (all the cloves) that this would go away, the reason I say this is because Garlic is notorious for healing just about anything, especially in the infection zone. I once cured my ear infection like that. Just try it, cant hurt.

I take acidophilus which is our bodies natural yeast culture. It will keep the bad bacteria at bay. It comes it gel caps and is over the counter. You probably just have an imbalance and it has worked like a charm for me.

if you do indeed have a yest infection try adding yogurt to your diet.
may sound weird but take a douse in buttermilk. buttermilk has a live bacteria in it that will kill the yeast infection.there is a pill that you can take that is for yeast infections.cant recall name of it but will clear the yeast infection .takes 24 hrs to do so. ask your doctor to prescribe this pill for you.also might try miconazole nitrate vaginal cream. it cures most vaginal infections. for the itch try itch relief creme.

could you be allergic to condoms?or your partner s sperm could be the problem,i had a similar problem years ago ,with my first husband ,his sperm irritated me to the point ,iitched and burned so bad i couldnt take it ,i divorced him and a few weeks later my prob was gone ,some time later ayear or so we tryed working things out after we had sex a few times my problem returned,needless to say we didnt have sex again ,i am married again 6yrs and no irritation yet so it was my ex and his sperm,im sure of it.,if your married and dont use condoms try using them see if it gets better,or if you use them already dont have sex . kathy a good luck
