I'm very preppy, i were balzers and express with italian jeans and all that. I take the AP classes with the jocks and the other machine like *cool* people, but I love emo girls more than any other kind of person in the world. I find my self following them between classes and finding excuses to pass them at lunch. Can anyone explain my obsession?

Maybe because they're different from your usual crowd? Sometimes different is almost exotic, and impossible to resist. I was a roper in high school (boots, jeans, big belt buckle, lol!) and I could NOT stay away from the punk guys (suppose they were sorta the 80s versions of emo). I caught so much crap from my friends, but I could not stay away from this one 6'2", black haired, black eyelinered, black nail polished, Culture Club concert shirt wearing guy. I'm sure he caught an equal amount of crap for dating me too, heh.
Whatever blows your skirt up, gotta run with it.

I don't know why people needs to label other people so much...
Maybe because they have something you don't have or you have something in common but you are not aware of? It's very possible. Or simply a fetish...who knows?
Look, if you like them, you can go out with them as much as you want. See how you feel! Who cares what other people says or think about you? You don't have to always look good to impress others. Important thing is to be you and be happy about it.

why would jocks be in AP classes, I'm one and its just to hard to have so much homework and it interferes(sp?) with sports like football and lacrosse for me. But I also think emo and scene chicks are really cute too, like kinda hard to approach but very very cute

there's this overused phrase: opposites attract.
it could be just that. personally i think emo people have a cool vibe. they don't care what the world thinks of them and all that stuff. they're individualistic. they're different.
