It seems the debate around Iraq always talks about "victory" and "success." What is victory when we attacked them? What is success other than getting out of where we never should have been in the first place? Why is there is no content for why we actually have real people dying there every day? Is it not clear from the actions of the Iraqis that we are not wanted?

Sometimes we need to help others. I'm not saying it all right, but it isn't all wrong, either. Our mission now is only to stay until the new government can stabilize. The other idea is for our soldiers, my family is there with them, to keep the insurgents at bay.
Please watch this interview with 3 former terrorist who are now practicing tolerance. They are in America and you'll be rather surprised to find out where. The money is coming from here to fund their organizations and I live in this state as well.
Yes, real people did die, but they also died to keep us free. We haven't had any attacks since 9/11. I'm sure the new government there is trying very hard and they do have benchmarks that they must follow. Rice was there to make certain they they uphold their end of the deal.

We are in Iraq and afghanistan to isolate Iran from the rest of the world which will hopefully force then into dismantling their nuclear prgram,if not then it gives us control of all shipping routes on the ground air and sea into Iran during a war making it impossible for them to get supplies or weapons,so in effect we have won the war in iraq allready since we can put iran on permanant lockdown in a matter of weeks with a little pressure on the UN,if you notice most of the insurgents in iraq are iranian so essentially the war with iran has allready begun they are comming into iraq to try and soften the american views on the war,in a nutshell once we leave iraq iran wipes isreal and anyone else they want in that region off the map

Who said that we are not wanted? Do you think the average Iraqi wanted Saddam Hussein in there as a dictator? He tortured and killed tens of thousands!
The fighting you see over there now is secular. It's Shi'ite factions against Sunni factions. Under Saddam Hussein, he would have had them all executed, so they didn't rear their heads. Now that he is not the person ruling the country, they have come out of the woodworks.
We're there to place a new government, and when that mission is finished, we leave.
You'd better be careful who you call, "aggressor". You really do need to get your facts straight before you make such accusations!

Well.. they r tooo cleaaarrr of that, but its not the "victory" as they claimed is the objectives of it.. thats only a "reason" for them to attack Iraqis.. dont u understand that?
they just send people to die for their "hidden" agenda...

I believe the real reason why we are in Iraq is mostly because Iraq has the second largest oil deposits in the world. I think some of the top oil corporation's big wigs used Bush as their patsy. I believe Cheney's secret energy notes would tell the whole story. Why would him and Bush become panic stricken when the Democrats demanded to see their precious notes?
