I had it done 3 years ago it was the scariest most horrible thing I have ever experienced worse than labour with no gas and air BUT that only lasted minuted and the positive side of it is amazing - no steaming up - walking in the rain - seeing the clock next to your bed - going swimming without fear and sliding down them water slides could carry on like this for days!!
My life was changed dramatically!
Go for it!

I had it done February 7th. It has been good so far. I had my next day check up and my one week checkup. Both were fine. I have to for my one month check up in March. My eyes were blurry and watery for the first few hours after surgery, but other than that, it was no problem at all.
Reading, on the release form, the things that can go wrong kind of freaked me out, but I have known a few people who had the surgery so I didn't worry too much.
Only you can make the decision, but I am happy that I did it. I have not met anyone who was not happy with it.

DONT GET IT...
until you are sure that your eye has stopped dramatically changing. If you wear contacts, switch to glasses for about a year, and if your visions/prescription is the same, it should be safe enough to get laser.
My cousin got laser. She wore hard contacts so that her vision wouldnt change. She got laser and after about 3 years, her vision went back to the original state, because her eyes had not finished molding and changing. So now she wears glasses, and cant get laser anymore.

I had the proceedure 6 years ago. Not one problem ever since. The only negative about it is that the pain on the day of the operation was real bad. I suggest taking sleeping pills right after it and when you wake up in the morning there is completly no pain and you will see perfactly. Good Luck!!!

Would do it over without even thinking about it, Vision went to 21/15 and has stayed there for 8 years without any side effects. Do it!

My brother had it done about 18 months ago at the cost of £3,000 and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. He has had problems with dry eyes and has trouble driving at night. He said if he could turn back time he wouldn't have had it done.
