The soreness is caused by lactic acid building up in your muscles. You can reduce this by warming up before you start your work with a few stretches just to get your muscles warmed up. Then when you've done for the day, warm down. Your muscles will get used to the harder work quite quickly and you wont be sore at all.

It's a pretty good indication that you worked, your muscles hard today. but I think you'll be fine, I used to do landscaping in my younger days, my muscles were so sore I could hardly move them, but as time went by it only makes you stronger, and tougher too it did me, just watch your time in the suns direct heat, and drink enough water not cold but cool is safer, take a nice hot salt bath or hot shower it's great for loosening up sore tight, muscles

It is bad if you can't move or it hurts. It is normal either way. Over working will cause trauma to tissues -- you over exerted yourself, which tore muscle fibers, which stimulated pain fibers... vicious cycle. Take rest, lightly stretch, baths/soak... if it doesn't go away in a couple of days go see a doctor.

it could be just all normal. maybe you're not used to heavy work and your joints and bones were surprised with your load of work yesterday. but if you have a fever and any other complaints than just that then it could be bad and for that you may need to see a doc. otherwise, you can just get a good sleep and rest. :-)

It just means you used muscles you haven't used for a long time so its good. You maybe overdid it at first - perhaps you didn't realise how unfit you are.
