There was a very good book for drawing Cybermen and Daleks printed about 30 years ago called "The Doctor Who Technical Manual". I recently got a copy from eBay for £2.50 + P&P, but since have found this website http://www.goaste.cx/goaste/drwhotechmanual001.html which has a scanned copy of the whole book.
This book is useful because it gives measurements for all the robots, Daleks etc and this can be used to check the proportions you are drawing.

The book "Grey's Anatomy" (not to be confused with the TV show) is considered essential by many people who draw humans (and human shaped Time Lords) because it shows how arms, legs and torsos bend and how muscles move. It is basically a book showing how the skeleton, tendons and joints fit together and how the flesh is layred over them.

There are also books called "How To Draw Marvel Comics", "How to Draw Manga" and "Drawing Figures" which all are helpful to showing how draw people and monsters.

I hope these sources help you! Doctor Who is a great TV show, I love it!
I hope this helps.

hi,im not sure about specific guides ,but you could go the bbc.co.uk and go on the dr who site.maybe you could print off some stills, then trace them.
also you could buy some dr who collecting cards and either draw them freehand or trace them.lots of trading cards on ebay.
hope you find what ur looking for :)
