The error is like this
"The destination drive is write protected. Please select another drive or remove the write protection"
What should i do?

i have Asus Combo Drive and have 18GB of free space on my HDD
should i use Virtual cd v5 or v6? coz it havn't given me problem ever!

This software always create some problem. I also faced these types of problems with this software.
Do as I did---- Stop using this software.
There is a Software named Alcohol 120% . goto GOOGLE and download it Use it and Enjoy.

Plz check the jumper of your drive and check the writing software which are compatible with cd writer or not
Nero 606 is latest software which comes with sony drives
It is best option you should installe it in your computer then check it problem comes or not.

hi,
if you are using NTFS file system than your drive maybe not granted permission for write so that message shows you for writing data on that drive that is one cause.
Others that check in your drive configration that your destination drive maybe locked thru write protection so remove write protction on that.
