I did this in about 7th grade art class, it only took about 2 hours to paint. Well i was wondering if it is good enough and if anybody would actually buy it if i sold it. People say they like it, but i am not sure if they are just being polite. Would you buy it?

very good.... you say you did this in seventh grade so you're at least probably taking art classes in high school now. ask your teacher for advice on composition of animals in a natural setting so you can perfect your skills at different techniques for landscape as well as whole body representations of multiple animals in a natural setting. look into art classes at your local community college too. your representation of the zebra bodes well of your ability to represent/paint the human form. study anatomy of the human draped in loose clothing so it suggests the form beneath the cloth. study landscape compostion. study what interests you and keep painting... good job.
i was an art major in college and didn't pick up a brush for years after college but recently started again and it is really such a joy. keep at it....

It's an excellent likeness of a zebra. I think it may need something more than just the lively red background to make it "saleable." For 7th grade it is really good. Keep taking art classes. And yes, you might be able to sell it.

great job
would i buy it>>> no probably not,
a painting does not derive its value, or if it's good or bad from how many or much people will pay for it.
rather how many people it speaks to ( makes happy)
lots of great art is never bought or sold for much, and sometimes, actually allot of times really bad art is sold for thousand's of dollars
instead give it to someone you like, and someone who likes the painting

It's very nice. Whether or not I would buy it would depend on the price. It's exceptionally good for a 7th grader. Keep up the good work.

Yes, you do have something. Keep it up, and you'll be a great artist someday! Save it so you can proudly say that you did this at such a young age.
