Is the start of puberty signified by a..... dream (as in the case of guys)? At what age is it common for a girl?

well, it usually happens in the teens...probably around 13. it's usually marked by when she gets her period, which usually ranges from 12-16, but can vary. as far as body, developing depends on the girl. a lot of girls bud (grow breasts) in early teen years, but don't fully develop hips and feminine body shape until late teens/early twenties.

Hi Praveen, Girls are not like guys. We don't have wet dreams,it's guys that have wet dreams and a lot of them. You can tell physically when a girl starts maturing when her breasts starts getting bigger and start to notice guys more and start flirting with them. That's the start of everything. A Friend.

You can tell a girl is maturing physically when she does the following:
1) Mentrate or Ovulate.
2) Grow breasts.
3) Grow pubic hair.
Usually those are the tell-tale signs of a girl growing into womanhood.

There are physical elements present in girl's body to show that she is maturing physically. It is common from the age of 12
1. pubic hair all around the private part
2. breast development
3. periodical mensuration
4. her friendship status will change

well usually the breast starts developing before they get their first period. its usally embarrising for the poor things because their mother is so overwelmed with joy and she cant stop telling her friends about what a big girl theve become. i have a friend that developed as young as 9. she couldnt understand why and for her she hated developing because she couldent fit into her tops because of how big her assets started growing.

from conception this is not avoiding the question, we start on a journey from the time we are conceived, Even when we think that we have arrived at another level we are already working on the next level. Interesting question.
