My boyfriend has been in Mexico now for 16 days and has not called me since. He has sent me 2 emails and we chatted twice on MSN... should I be pist he hasnt called me and or how should I handle this situation when he gets back? especially if I dont hear from him Via phone...

Who did he go to mexico with and what part. I don't think you should be mad at him at all. I mean he went there for vacation and mos the time vacation means temporarily getting away from stress. Why would you want to put the stress right back on him when he gets back. The fact of the matter is that at least he has emailed you 2 tims and chatted wth you on MSN. Have you ever thought that where he is he is not able to use a phone or does not have long distance. When you go to another location your phone needs to be changed to a service provider from there in order to make calls. Yeah it may be difficult for you because you want to hear from him and stuff but don't get mad at him for it. I'm sure he will call you or email you again soon.

What, email isn't good enough for you? If you insist on phone calls, you might want to make that clear; he might think that staying in touch by email is sufficient.
If you don't have *any* contact for several days, you should be worried, not upset. Mexico is a place where people still disappear and turn up - sometimes in pieces - out in the desert.

No matter where my husband travels on business, sometimes out of the country, he calls me once a day -- not because I ask him to, but he misses me as much as I do him. He says he feels better to hear my voice and chat a bit.
Now everyone's relationship is different -- whatever works best. When at home, does he call you regularly? Is he in Mexico on a job-related matter? Still, he could call at night, I imagine. I suggest when he gets home, tell him how you feel. Hopefully, you will reach a compromise the next time he travels. Would hate for you to say to him: "Adios, amigo!!"

what was the purpose of his visit to mexico ? 16 days. is too long. did u have a fight with him, before he left for mexico, in that case he might be waiting for ur call. u did not tell us that why u did not make a call. u tried his phone, u left a message and he is not repsonding..
generally, couples call each other .. the moment they reach the other city, or in 2-3 days.

call me controlling yet yeah i could be mad. who cares? you have been with a guy for 2 months yet he is going lacking for 10 days on holiday & his excuse is he did no longer desire to talk to absolutely everyone? Then that in simple terms provides him the "ok" to try this a million year into the courting. tell him the way it made you sense & that atleast one telephone call an afternoon that lasted under a minute could have been ok!

normally you would expect a call. especially if he has been gone for over 2 weeks. yes you should be upset
