Try insureandgo website or ring Trailfinders both should be able to provide good reasonably priced insurance to meet your needs.

Definately get travel insurance so you and your family are covered when you are abroad, I cant tell you how important it is to have cover for medical, accidents, loss of luggage, missed flights etc.

I can recommend Travel Insurance Web as they have a price promise which means if you find the same policy that matches or exceeds the cover anywhere else you and your family get a free policy.

I checked the T&C's for you in the case of pregnancy - "pregnancy within 12 weeks before the estimated date of delivery". Because you are 5 months pregnant you are more than 12 weeks before delivery date so you are covered. Nice to have some peace of mind eh :).

I checked the price for you, your son and husband for a worldwide single trip travel insurance policy and it came to £32.50. Go for it!

yes, yes, normally I would have not bothered, but I was away recently with my family, my step dad took ill, and was taken in to hospital and operated on over night. The ICU costs €2000 per day, the insurance allowed for my mam to stay over in a hotel to be near him, and covered the cost of an air ambulance home. Hes home now, and nearly fully recovered. Thank god.

The other people in the hospital were not so lucky, one girl collapsed, fell into the pool and nearly drowned, another looked like he was in some sort of crash, another was being read last rites. You never know whats going to happen and when, I used to think insurance was just for delays and lost luggage, but I was mistaken.

There are loads of places that offer annual travel insurance, I got mine from www.blueinsurances.ie (you never said where you live, but try .com or co.uk and you might be lucky) I know the AA do it to, and AXA, and some of the main travel agencies offer it too, but they are usually a front for other agencies, , you don't have to go on a package deal with them to take out the insurance . Alternatively, go to the Golden pages and look up insurance brokers, and they will be able to help you.

good luck

I always have insurance from Insure & Go, im not sure if they are competively priced for single trips, as they are with annual..

But also try Tesco Travel Insurance...

When looking around don't just look at the price of the insurance, also assess how much they give in the event of certain accidents...

Travel agent insurance is usually dearer, i personally use insure and go, otherwise look in the week - end papers there are many advertising, remember though to be honest in case you need to make a claim otherwise the insurance will be null and void

always always. yu are pregnant, and if you need hospital treatment you will be covered, as well as that, if you lose any belongings, if you needed to cancel due to any kind of problems at home, ie illness or something. i had to cancell a holiday last year as i was ill, my doctor gave me a certificate to send to the insurance company, saying i was too ill to fly, i got my money back from the insurance company. anything can happen, and you need to feel assured that you are covered for any event.

I would say yes have insurance because you never no whats going to happen, also goto your post office and get an E111 form for your health insurance.
There are lots of sites on the web for insurance.

Check with your credit card company and your health insurance company.

Some credit card companies provide travel insurance, either free with your ticket purchase or for a low price.

See what kind of travel health coverage you have with your carrier. Mine covers treatment out of country.
