Why would I hire an American when I can hire three mexicans to do a better job for the same price?

It's according to what the job is. Some Americans wouldn't want to do a job that a Mexican immigrant would just to get the opportunities to come to this country to fend for his family. At the same time, a Mexican may work twice as hard as an American because he knows what the stakes are in relation to having a chance to have a job that Americans would otherwise take for granted. A Mexican doesn't always have to be an illegal immigrant. Before someone works, I believe they have to have proper ID's and proof of citizenship anyway. Otherwise if you do hire someone that's illegal, you may be ratted on or inspected by the Feds sooner than later.

Well, I think it may be questionable as to whether you would always get the better job out of the Mexicans. Anyways, take your chances, but don't whine when you get caught out and possibly fined big time. When you do, I hope the fine is enough to more than take away the profit you made off of your slave labourers. As well, I don't know how you sleep at night when you are basically taking advantage of the poor Mexicans by paying them the pittance that you must be paying them. When you hire three Mexicans for the price of one American, you should be ashamed of yourself if you think about the kind of squalid life you are forcing them to live in. I think many employers of illegals also take sick advantage of their illegal employees by working them far too many hours and often cheat them on their pay, knowing they have no where to turn to for recourse. Personally, I would think far better of you if you would go through the paperwork and help them to go through it, so they can work for you legally with a green card or else a temporary workers visa. Then, you can pay them properly, with proper deductions so you and they can take pride in the fact that you and they are not mooching off of the taxpayers, because yes, you are also mooching off of the taxpayers when you pay them so little that they end up trying to get welfare or can't afford to license and insure their vehicles to drive legally. You, by hiring illegal immigrants, are pocketing the profits (not passing any profits onto your consumers) and having taxpayers supplement what you should be paying. When your illegal employees get hurt on the job, I bet you drop them off at the local Emergency Room and take off, laughing all the way to the bank, knowing they will get free treatment, again at the expense of legal citizens. You should be very ashamed of yourself.

why would you not support your own country? you know, the country you live in?
why on earth would you go outside your own country for employees?
you have people there begging for jobs, who are qualified, skilled workers. you have families living on the streets because companies, employers, go to 3rd world countries to have inferior products produced so they could sell them at obscene profits. the only problem is the companies, the employers, fired their own countrymen to accomplish this. and these same c.e.o.s are sitting scratching their heads wondering why americans arent' buying their products! they cant buy much of anything without money and they have no money 'CAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE JOBS! because you chose to take their jobs away from them.
its not just in america, its happening here as well. thankfully in our little corner of the world employers are starting to get their heads out of their a$$e$ and are quietly bringing their companies back to our own country. hopefully american corps will start doing the same thing soon.
so, you go ahead and hire your 3 non-countrymen to do the work, and i hope whatever it is you are building falls down around your ears!

As they put pressure on all working people to survive, they have done that to all business to compete at the lowest wages possible. So if you are in business for yourself, you are pressured to hire illegals to make more money for yourself. And it is working.

Why should I hire an American business who only hires illegals? I don't have to. It goes both ways. I boycott businesses who have cheap labor. I don't support traitors.
