Ok, first off, Lent is not a man made thing, it is in the bible, jesus was in the desert for 40 days and was tempted my the devil, maybe you should read the bible!!!!

Ok also, i am not Catholic, but I gave up something for lent, and lent is nto a holiday, it is a season from Ash Wednesday to Good Friday
