quite a lot, see your doctor, you are most likely anemic, throwing up can rot your teeth and ruin the lining of your throat. and not eating right messes with your ability to fight off all sorts of things.

I had issues with anorexia during my teenage years and it did a lot of long term damage to my body, especially my metabolism. I would talk to your doctor and see if you can get a good referral for a dietician who may help you take steps towards a diet that can possible stop or reverse some of the damage that may be done. Some foods will take time to get your body used to, but their benefits are so important. For the time being take your vitamins and get plenty of rest. Your body needs lots of healing.
I would see if you can get your doctor to run some of the standard tests for things such as kidney and liver damage which can be easily caused by diet problems. They can check your iron levels and such for anemia and it will give you some peace of mind.
All my tests have come back healthy and good, but there are some lasting effects I could not escape, such as hypoglycemia (which puts me at risk for diabetes). Try to just take care of your body from here on out okay? I put on a lot of weight since I stopped being anorexic and I've never felt so beautiful and healthy.

yes malnutrition can cause serious problems. my best friend didnt have an eating disorder, but just didnt eat as much as she should have, and it got so bad that she would pass out. i dont eat like i should and i have hypoglycemia because of it. chances are if you did it for a long time that you will 1. have trouble getting in the routine of eating properly and 2. have lasting effects from depriving your body of nutrients it needs. i would consider seeing a nurtitionist if i were you.

See a doctor and a nutrition person and ask about hair vitamins. I am a 15 year recovering anorexia/bulimic. It gets better with time. I do still get sick very easy. And are you in therapy?? You do need it. Even just a 12 step group.

All kinds of chemical imbalances are possible by eating like that and can cause everything from tremors to death. Go get a blood test and see how you are doing.
