It really depends on how much muscle you had before ending your workouts. Potentially you'll lose a good deal of muscle in that time, but if you start back it's not like you'll be starting over from scratch.

It's common for life events, injuries, or other things to interfere with our routine. All you can do is get back into it with the expectation that you aren't where you were and you just need to put some time in to build back up. Typically, I've found it takes about the same amount of time to get back where you were that you took off (that really depends on how advanced you were because of the nature of diminishing gains as you advance).

If you do start back up, and you should, just take it slow and ease back into it. it'll likely come back faster than you think.
