Overall, I'd say the answer is yes.
Women have the emotional capability to talk on the phone for hours to their friends, mothers, sisters, etc. Men do not normally possess this capability.
Some men, myself included, will be *willing* to talk on the phone for an hour or two, but even we have our limits. It may be OK at first, for a few weeks or even a few months, but as a relationship progresses, we men don't like to keep talking on the phone for hours. Some of us will keep doing it to please our women, but after awhile we don't really enjoy it as we first did.
Why?
Well it's really hard to answer that question. At the core, you might as well chalk it up to basic differences between men and women.
Overall, though, I think it's a combination of reasons.
Many men feel like they run out of meaningful conversation, and don't see the value of talking about nothing with their woman.
Also, men's minds tend to wander. After awhile of focusing on a certain thing, our minds try to move on to something else.
And finally, I would say that men also tend to associate the physical and emotional side of a relationship with each other. That is, a man may enjoy talking for hours IN PERSON, but without that physical presence, the emotional enjoyment of good conversation is far less powerful.

I always liked to yack over the phone. I have had a history of 4-6 hour phone calls that pretty much covered my entire life and hers. But my ex-girl friend made things a lot different. I did not like taking to her over the phone so I would drive over to her house (17 miles) and talk to her in person. That was wonderful. Nothing quite like the presence of a real person.

Nah. I love talking on the phone. It's hard to talk to someone in person after talking to them on the phone for a while, though. I'm saying like a week or so of just talking on the phone, and then meeting back up with the person. It's like you're at a loss of words.

Guess it depends on the conversation and the guy.
Personally,
If it's a day time phone call. Say what you have to say. Don't drag it out.
At night, when everything has slowed down. I don't mind sitting and chit chatting on the phone.

First, do no longer kiss him, please. permit the 1st one be particular, and which incorporate your boyfriend. He has no interest in you, please do no longer waste it. 2d, and you will have seen this coming, be advantageous! pretend like there is not any incorrect subject you could say. do no longer carry your self returned or shrink your self. Then, adult adult males will flock to you! remember, you're basically as awkward as you're making your self.
