I have a 1994 jeep grand Cherokee 4x4 and i recently found a lose hose thats connected to the front axle.Does any one know where the the other end is supposed to be connected, because i cant find where it goes.

Sound to me like it is the breather hose. It comes out of the differential so it doesn't build up pressure and blow out the axle seals. This hose also keeps water from entering into your diff. housing.

i'm going to trust david, generally a CV will "click" or "pop"..it fairly is often extra noticable whilst making a turn on a similar time as under action, like in a carpark, the extra reliable the turn the extra noticable the noise. Your CV(consistent volicity) joints are what makes your front wheels rigidity once you're in 4wd, using on dry roads in 4wd will fairly injury them upfront. try working in 2 wheel rigidity and if its the CV joints, this noise shouldnt be as noticable on the grounds which you will no longer have any power to them.

itis a heat vent tube it releases heat build up in the axle it is suppose to just hang there

breather just put it up high, i used electrical tape and taped it to the hose that goes from the PVC and the airbox

its to release heat and pressure! just leave it alone it is suppose to be just hanging there!
