My friend went through the same thing, having her hip broken and all. I think you need to tell someone close to you, like your mom, why on eartyh should you have to go see a shrink who make's a living out of calling people crazy? I take that back, not all "head doctors" are like that but, there is no reason, if you really do not want to go, why you have to go.
You are not crazy!
You are a normal person that has been tied by Satans chains of illness and you feel like you can't get freebut, you can!
Jesus was whipped 39 times for our illnesses and ailments before he was nailed to the cross to die willingly for our sins.
Talk to your mom about your feelings and i will be praying for you.
My friend was healed, by the way.
You will be too!
I hope this gives you hope,
may God bless you!

You would do a lot better if you had some support from others who have gone thru what you have...check out your local libraries and or in the phone books for support groups..you can also locate these groups via the local newspapers..in the classifieds sometimes...also, if there are places like assisted living groups, that might be able to help you out...or "free clinics" in your area...also try craigslist.com...that may have some support group listings as well. Sometimes you doctor might be able to help or even if you were to call a local therapy group place...sometimes they know of either free groups or local groups that don't cost alot,.. but can really be helpful....
I know how you must feel...do not GIVE IN or GIVE UP...you need support ...and there ARE a lot of groups of people out there that can be there for you..as well as others too!
I know how you feel, as I have been feeling like that sometimes as well...I just got diabetes type two..and it isn't easy struggling with the diet that I am supposed to be on!!!
I wish you the very, very best...and I know that you will find a great group of people...also...there are a lot of yahoo support groups..and ever think about starting one?
there are also "meet-ups" online..maybe you could start your very own special group...with people your own age..and or a little older and a little younger! You might just be a very busy person, the same time, next year! LOL!

You kind of have a good reason for feeling sorry for yourself. After that many surgeries in a short time who wouldnt? My concern is that it could end up causing you not to live your life to the fullest that you are able though. I dont know what your physical limits are but you cant let your depression over this ruin what good you have. You are also lucky to have supportive parents who are concerned about you. My advice is to go ahead and see the "head" doctor. Try a couple visits and then if you dont like it you can stop. It cant hurt.

The very first thing I want you to do is check and see the type of medication you are taking. Some meds can make you feel, depress, angry, and sometime mix emotions. Take your meds and look it up in google or if you have Walgreens or where ever you get your meds find out the side effects of it! You should also discuss this with your parents regarding the meds.
Buy a note book or a dairy and record your inner thoughts. This may help you deal with anything on your mind.
I totally agree with you, "head doctors" are a waste of time and money. The best doctor to consult with is Christ. He knows what's best for you and He is only ones knows the truth. I will personally keep you in my prayers.
God Bless

It's important for you to talk with some-one. I found it strange
to tell a complete stranger(the shrink) my inner thoughts, feelings, worries and fears, etc. But a close friend who knows me is much easier to talk to, and that helps, sort thru thoughts
feelings, and get feedback. When you're feeling down, or feel
sorry for yourself, think of others who are less fortunate than
you, and your life suddenly looks better. You are a special person, I guarantee you, and when your surgeries are complete
your life will be better, Be Strong...

Yes, I would talk with someone. It seem you are in a different type of situation. Not a bad situation, just different and sometimes it's good just to talk about it. Give it a shot, you don't have anything to lose.

maybe what you need is someone you can talk to seriously. i think you are worried about your coming 6th surgery. undergoing many operations will really put a dent in your general well being and happiness. nothing is wrong with your head. what you need is a friend, a confidante, who can lift your spirits up. if you have no one to talk to, here i am. e mail me. am willing to listen.

This sounds like situational depression---a Dr could give you an anti-depressant however they are not without risk and I think you will grow out of it when you heal--------in the mean time try to find a new interest---a hobby---and get in touch with your creator----that's where you can find answers----GOOD LUCK

get out and do something. That's probably why you're so depressed.
