I would like the Canon brand..Maybe for $100

Greatness (or even goodness) does not come with a $70 price tag. For that amount, the best you can hope for is mediocre in a new camera.

You might find a refurb or discontinued model worth having for $100. Canon's entry level digicam would be as good as any.
