I think the Da Vinci Code is overrated. Christians need not offer any response, as it makes a wild allegation without any evidence.

Well the uneducated are out in force tonight....hence the answers you are getting....
The DaVinci Code is only fictional in it's dealings with the modern storyline...however the little history lesson in the middle regarding the formation of the christian religion and the sacred feminine are historically accurate . There is some evidence that Jesus was married to Mary Magdelene. This is not anti-christian......it is anti fundaMENTAL christianity. It has gnostic leanings and pagan themes throughout the movie....how can it be anti-christian, when christianity is built upon paganism?

It follows the gnostic beliefs, sort of revisionist history. Dan Brown would say it's not anti-Christian but I think most Christians would disagree that either Jesus was married or had children.

You know, I may be one of the few people out there that saw the movie as simply an excellent story. I think we all have our own faith and beliefs, and we each decide what role we will allow a movie (any movie) to affect those things. I personally saw the movie as a very entertaining, interesting, suspenseful, enjoyable story, so it did not affect my personal religious beliefs at all and I do not consider myself Anti-Christian for thinking that a movie was entertaining.

DID you know that in god we trust was only put on the money during the cold war era.......y'know the days when usa was fighting soviet ATHEISM?

No, it's a fictional movie starring Tom Hanks and a hot chick with connections that put the Sopranos to shame.

No, I don't think so. My mom read the book and she's a Christian. She said it was kind of blasphemous and that's to be expected in this day & age. I didn't read it or watch the movie. It seems boring.
It's just fiction. If it rubs you the wrong way, don't read or watch it.

Oh jeez, here we go again. Enough with this subject.
SIGH... to answer your question, no, it's not anti-Christian. It's a story, a fictional story, nothing more than that.
The End.

I enjoyed the e book or perhaps yet it somewhat is assessed as fiction, it makes me think of of there would desire to be some fact in the back of the theories. i don't comprehend why Catholics have been so indignant via skill of the e book. It in no way doubted the life of Jesus, somewhat made the conception of him greater desirable clever. i've got have been given additionally analyze Angels and Demons and theory that substitute into suitable. finding forward to the action photograph, even despite the fact that (like the Da Vinci Code) in wont be as sturdy by using fact of fact the e book.
