And i need to know what sort of subjects that will be helpful in continuing this study and that will improve my resume in the future.

Are you in school now? If not, I would suggest getting enrolled...whether it is at a community college, small business school, or a university.
You should probably meet with a counselor or advisor and tell them your plans. Your school will have certain curriculum that you will be required to take to get certain degrees. For instance, your school may offer a Bachelor of Arts in Business or a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing (or even Advertising). You will probably have to follow a very standard business curriculum, which will include courses like statistics, calculus, organizational management, organizational behavior, accounting/finance, communications, strategy, etc. Then you will probably have the option of taking several electives in your chosen field, which is where you can explore Advertising and Marketing further.
Plus, the other suggestion would be to go to an advisor at school or even your career services office to see if you could get an internship in Advertising or Marketing so that you can get a feel for what the real world of those professions is like (because, as well all know, school is TOTALLY different from the real world!0
