I am in 9th grade. One of my 3 best friends is a guy. I love hanging out with him and there is just something about him that makes me feel so at home. The other day when we were watching this scary movie, I kept getting freaked out and ducking into his shoulder. There is something about him that just makes me want to stay there forever. That is not the problem. I really like this other guy and he is great at making me laugh. He has the cutest smile and says the nicest things to me. He likes me too and I dont know whether to go for it or leave it alone. My best guy friend doesnt like this guy and keeps telling me that if I really knew him I wouldnt like him. He says that around the guys he iss mean and over confident. He wont even get into the pool or local lake because according to my guy friend he thinks his balls are gonna shrink. My guy friend also likes me, but thats something that we have always gotten past. I don't know what to do.... When Im around, they hate each other. Help!

maybe your friends knows something that you don't know he is your best friend and is looking out for your best interest. listen to him remember he will always be their for you. this other guy probably just wants to get into your pants.

If I were you, keep the male friend that you have...for now,as just a male friend..don't rush into anything...as for the other fella, it IS possible that your male friend could be telling you the truth...but, he might also be trying to stop you from looking and getting attracted to another person....you need to keep your eyes and ears OpEn!!!! You need to follow how you're feeling inside....what do you feel really...and how well do you know this other guy that you male friend doesn't trust....maybe you should look more into this..before you plunge head first...check out this situation....do some guy sleuthing..ask around , from others..but, always watch your back!
Who knows...maybe in the end..it will be the guy that is one of your best buddies! But, just keep your life open, for a little bit..and see who else is out there...there might be some other fellas who you might like to get to know..and or who want to get to know you...and instead of rushing to get into a serious relationship...date around...and get to know people first...you might decide that there are just too many nice guys out there!
