And then run around frantically to see if people who went to your church were mowing their lawn or anything?

I did :)

Um, no Jesus, can't say that I did.

But I did believe that my pastor's wife was a prophetess, so I win.

every physique who rather is customary with of the what the Bible says would not ask this variety of question! in case you had any thought how issues will definitely be after the rapture - called the "catching away" in some translations, you should actual understand the rapture hasn't taken place yet! have faith me, while it *does* ensue, you would understand it! only provide up and picture - has there been a mass disappearance of babies and young toddlers below the age of accountability? there is your answer! To the guy who believes the rapture is a nineteenth Century invention or build only via fact the be conscious isn't used interior the Bible, a homework project: study a Bible! The *thought* is there, whether that good be conscious isn't! The Greek be conscious, eros, isn't interior the Greek and Aramaic translation of the Bible the two; yet some human beings in Biblical instances could have understand *some thing* approximately it!

Never and neither would you if your Christian Faith was securely anchored in the Lord. For me to even think I'd miss it would make me an unbeliever and that's never been the case for me And just because someone goes to church, doesn't mean they will be raptured up. To go to church, to claim to be a believer, to talk the talk and not walk the walk is to be a liar, a hypocrite. God knows your heart. He doesn't check the church attendance when He judges you, He looks at your heart. Do you have a relationship with Jesus, have repented, changed and follow Jesus? If not, you may wonder about this missing the Rapture deal. I wouldn't want to be in your shoes running around...No, you see, my shoes will still be here, but I won't!!!!

Funny that this comes up-- just the other day, A colleague of mine went "missing" for 4 days. I know his mother is a Pastor at a local church and he is religious, etc. I was worried and started to check obituaries and called him, etc.... nothing. So I actually did consider that a possibility, but then I convinced myself otherwise considering that I teach 2nd and 3rd graders and there hadn't been any unusual absences...

Turns out though, my friend/colleague had fallen on ice, hit his head and had gotten a concusion- he is OK and back to work now though- whew!

My sister ( who is also saved) who had skipped college for a day was supposed to be home. i woke up n it there was absolute silence. i looked out of my window n surprisingly there was no one on the road...n then suddenly i heard a loud trumpet like sound...it sounded like a trumpet....n i was shocked...my heart was beating so loud i could hear it.lol.i thought i missed the rapture....n i was looking around frantically if i could spot atleast someone who didnt make it too..haha....only to see a huge trailer parked in front of my house(that trumpet was the sound of the trailer horn..lol) n lots of people. Then i got to know that my sister had to go urgently somewhere n she forgot to leave a note to me...

I have two small boys, there is no such thing as a quiet afternoon! I think that this quiet you speak of is more faith in fairy tales as I know no quiet, unless you count the wonderful sound of deep breathing and snoring.

Never when I genuinely believed it, but it HAS crossed my mind a few times.

Most afternoons I just wish things would be quiet enough to evoke such a thought.

oh, yeah. I did this many times. Just the other day, i was laying on my bed and I heard this really loud horn. the only thing I could think about, was that gabriel blew his horn. I really started freaking out. Been then i thought, If i hear the horn, then I will go. Because if your not living right, I dont believe you will hear it.
