My friend is 15 and her Mum won't let her buy a bikini. She wears a 1 piece, unless she comes over to my place to swim, and she swims nude. If she had a bikini she would wear it. My brother caught her nude and she was embarrassed, but the risk of him catching her is better than wearing her 1 piece, so she thinks.
Her Mum says when she gets a job and has her own money (which will be after she finishes Uni bc her parents won't let her get a job now) then she can buy her own clothes

Lets talk Irony. People will buy their 2 yr olds bikinis but then when they get older refuse to let them wear a bikini.

I'm in agreement with her mother, if i have to buy my kids clothes i am going to choose what they wear, i don't want my 15 year old showing off her body to strangers.
