Only one of the earth's religions possesses all of the following attributes:
1. One holy, perfect, and just Supreme Being
2. It's Supreme Being came down to earth, claimed unequivocally to be the Supreme Being, and died for its believers so that they may exist eternally
3. A revelation from this Being contained in a book that has survived over a period of time greater than any other religious or secular text in all of written history; with its content 99%+ intact from the originally inspired texts.
4. The book of this group contains contents are unmatched in their reliable historicity and doctrines, having had NOT A SINGLE contradiction, logical fallacy, or historical fact invalided by mankind's best attempts using logic, philosophy, or science.
5. The original prophets of this group have prophesied correctly in every instance (over 600+ with two yet remaining to be fulfilled) described in this book.
The scales had no choice but to tip in favor of Christianity and God.

I cannot speak for ALL of the world's religions, but based on the study of history, I would have to say that what tipped the scales in favor of Christianity as opposed to the polytheistic religions of the world at that time was that all religions EXCEPT for Judaism were made illegal in the Roman empire of the time by the Emperor Constantine I and his successors. With the exception of Constantine's grandson Julian (who was Pagan) this launched a war of extermination against Pagan practices that continued in the Roman empire until the government could no longer FIND followers of the old gods.
Because of this, many people believe that the worship of the Hellenic Gods have died out entirely (which like the worship of the Norse Gods did NOT happen)

The reformation and succeeding industrial revolution arise as result a of of Christianity - what was then commonly referred to as protestanism. The modern "First World" is based upon the protestant work ethic. Much of colonialisation and developments rightly or wrongly flow from this. Hence the world's inclination towards Christianity. In Africa today the fastest growing religion is Roman Catholicism. The largest religious grouping in South America is again Roman Catholicism.

Firstly, it doesn't sound like you are asking a serious question.
Secondly, this question is just as applicable to any person professing any faith, or even those who call themselves atheist.
Thirdly, it is self-evident that no one has all the time to examine all the religions that exist. But we can categorise the belief systems into worldviews and examine them under three main worldviews: theism, atheism, pantheism.
Fourth, atheism and pantheism is easily thrashed, so we are left with theism. And so things are much more simpler to examine.
Fifth, no one in his right mind goes through ALL the options that are available. He restricts himself to certain categories and decides based on the sufficiency of evidence. Is that self-deception? Nope, it's human limitation. We simply do not have all the time in the world!
Lastly, if you are REALLY serious, check out this book http://www.amazon.com/Building-Belief-Constructing-Faith-Ground/dp/0801065690

Okay, this is technical but close to the answer u are looking for
christinaity is older than most religions of the world, and also for the religions that preceded christianity, efforts were made to wipe them all out by the church in 1 and 2 century. records show all the temples of Isis and other Egyptian gods were broken down. followers of rivals of jesus, Appolonius, Simon Marcus, Bar khokhba and other were brutally massacred.
the scales were made to tip in favor of christianity by the church, well its good anyway, also priests from the church are sent to various poverty stricken countries in asia for converting peole to christians with just some help of food or money by them
Hats off to church and priests they did and are really even now working hard, to create followers of worlds largest religion

Christianity is fundamentaly different than every other religion and philosophy. Ever single religion with the exception of Christianity is work based. By following a set of rules and principles you will obtain salvation, paradise, nirvana, ect... Christianity is totally different. It teaches that it doesn't matter how many good things you do, you can never earn your way into God's favor. "All have fallen short of the Glory of God" "There is none that are good", but God made a way for us to be reconciled with Him by sending his Son into the world to die in our place. Its like this, the evidence is there, we are guilty of breaking God's law, but Jesus paid our fine. In short, Religion is mans way of trying to reach to God, CHRISTIANITY is God reaching to Man.

well many ppl today dont understand religion. ppl just want to promote their foolish speculations under the name of holy books and the name of religion. many ppl follow to gain some kind of prestige in society.
but here the actual purpose of religion is something that u must understand. religion let whichever it be has only 1 aim to teach about god, to love god to know his instruction and to know how to love him.
if any thing under the title of religion fulfils this, thats a true religion rest whatever let it be is just c*r*a*p.
is there any problem still to understand this simple thing??
PS: religion is not faith... as many ppl mis-understand. its a spiritual science to know god.

did you study and investigate every single form of counterfeit money before you accept money from anyone or spend it? Have you studied every form of religion before you came to whatever conclusions you have come to?
My faith is not about studying every religion out there to see which one suits me best- it is about a real relationship with the one true God- when one has this relationship, they have what is real, when you know and understand what is real- you don't need to study the fake- it is just obvious that it is not the real thing.

A relationship with christ is not a religion! Just like a relationship with your father or mother is not a religion.
