This is true, but since Native Americans were here about 15000 years BEFORE any Europeans, they think their claim has a little more weight to it. Personally, I'm inclined to agree.
Yes, they did migrate from somewhere in the Mongolian/Siberian region of Asia, but then again, every other race out there migrated from somewhere else. The Europeans, the Chinese, etc., etc.; all of them started from that first homo sapiens, that (arguably) originated in what is now eastern Africa.

*sigh* The native tribes were here for thousands of years, before the formation of the United States, it's a fact. The little meztiso "La Raza" people are part native to this continent, it's a fact. Get over it.
As much as I dispute the meztiso's claims to ancestral territory on land that now belong to the United States, the fact is that they are technically the "Native Americans" of Mexico (North America), Central America, and South America.

That's no argument you have. Obviously the Indigenous people of the Americas were the only ones that truly adapted until the Europeans swarmed in. But how do you explain the native languages couldn't be broken during WW2 by anyone? There are over 300 plus native languages in the Americas and the're still spoken. I should know, I speak one.

This is not true!
What you are doing is subscribing to scientific racism.
If you look into the land bridge theory you will find that there is little to no evidence to support it. You will also find that there is more evidence against it than for it. Scientists, scholars, and common citizens today just believe in it on blind faith. Why?
Because people would like to believe that Natives are immigrants so they don't have to honor the traumtic and horrible history of this country. They feel that if Natives were immigrants they have as much entitlement to the land as everyone else, not more. But there is just no proof for this.

That's not as bad as the Middle East. Who can say who were there first.
No one else can claim that they were here first though, and suggesting that they migrated here is really scientific conjecture. So I have no problem with people saying the Native Americans are the only "true" non-immigrants in the US.

I think the point of this is that the USA is firmly established. And there are laws and rules.
We are going by the laws of today or at least of recent history. You cannot rewind that far back and erase what happened.
Its much less complicated than the middle east.
The point is the economy of the USA cannot support the amount of immigrants that are coming to the USA. It will fail eventually.. and that eventuality is moving toward us rapidly unless there is some change.

although it is a good question... but it really doesn't matter now... shoot you have all kinds coming to the USA now. And everyone claims that they deserve to be here and have the right to be here. The question is kinda mute now.
The real question is can all of us live in peace and harmmony with out one group of race dominating over all the others.
doing things the right way and treating people with true equal rights across the board!!

the whole native american imigration fight has been going on way too long, just because they were here first shouldent matter, in fact the whole race thing needs to go away, there are many people in this country who can trace their roots back to both europe africa and to native americans, and if the extreme raceist factons in this country did an accurate geneology of their own family they would have to start burning crosses in their own yard, we are all native to this country unless you are a recent immagrant.
